![]() ![]() Regardless of your age, gender, culture, or personal interests, you are worthy of sparkle. Depending on the human, sparkle may include laughing, creating, dancing, riding, singing, doodling, splashing, running, throwing, building, writing, and most of all, playing. In your practice to untap your sparkle, remember that it is more than the basics. Sparkle is most beautiful because everyone’s sparkle is different. This is the beauty of the practice to untap your sparkle. What makes me sparkle is very different from what makes you sparkle. These tools might not have anything to do with your sparkle. Since I was very young, practices like blowing bubbles, putting my feet in the ocean (any body of water, really), wearing (very sparkly) Minnie ears while riding rollercoasters, and dancing to my favorite bands enhance my sparkle and filled my cells with light. These practices are the experiences that spark joy in me in ways that remind me of who I have always been. Generally depicted as a cluster of three, yellow four-point stars, with one large sparkle and. Other pieces of my sparkle feel more connected to the process of coming home to myself. These practices have been explored and developed over the last few years as I learn about new ways to sparkle. Some of my sparkle practice includes spiritual tools like energy healing, oracle cards, and crystals. This is where you can explore exactly how to enhance your sparkle for you. By setting your sights on sparkling with those basics, and making them habits, you are setting up the foundation to build where the next onion layer of sparkle will peel back. The first steps to untap your sparkle are framed around loving your true self in your body. I truly enhance my sparkle when I build upon my foundation of wellness basics and embrace the unique facets that are specific to me. And yet, sparkle is so much more than simply food, exercise, sleep, and stress relief. This list is what I would consider a standard foundation for sparkle. This practice includes eating whole, real food (for me, #Whole30MakesMeSparkle) moving my body in loving forms of exercise practicing sleep hygiene engaging in daily meditation, and more. I keep my energy moving by continuing my practice to sparkle. If we find ourselves feeling sluggish, this usually means that our energy has hit a speed bump or bottleneck in its natural flow in our systems. It means that your energy is in motion, and you continue the practices that support your sparkle so that your energy does not become stuck, stagnant, or dull. This does not mean that when you sparkle you are always moving, or never slow down. When I imagine something that sparkles, I envision constant twinkling movement. To sparkle means that I feel my best, am filled with joy and vitality, and that every cell in my body is lit up by the glowing facets of this human experience that bring me joy. My definition of sparkle includes living life as fully, vibrantly, and playfully as possible. My definition of sparkle doesn’t just include shine, shimmer, twinkle, or glitter. But for some, this idea can sound weird or confusing. Sparkle is a very regular part of my vocabulary. Talking about sparkle feels really natural to me.
